Stuart,

I appreciate your values. As a note, no one here is asking anyone to join the Tea Party movement. We're not after members, just wanting to educate people with our point of view.
I'd be wrong to say that just because you're a committed American Jewish Conservative means you're correct in your beliefs (from my point of view). Many people who call themselves Christians take the stance that "Hey, there are many roads to travel, as long as you're on one heading the right direction, who cares how you get there". Well, that's just not the way we feel. In our belief Christ is the answer and He comes first before anything else.
We thank you for everything you do to support America but we are not going to say that Non-Christians are correct in their beliefs/faiths. We are not trying to be politically correct here. In our opinion, this nation and the world has had enough of that.
We support your efforts to stay involved and continue to question what our country is going through and how it effects the world. Keep up the good fight!

May the Lord keep you and your loved ones safe.

Dear Tea Party friends,
I am opposed to the policies, both domestic and foreign, of the President Hussein Administration, particularly his Mideast and his phony war on terrorism.

Although I am an American citizen living in Israel, who has been able to maintain his American values, I am rather shocked by the fact that your mission statement's first statement implies that if one is a committed American Jewish Conservative Republican, they are disqualified from being a member of the Tea Party. This, depite the fact that Israel is the only country that the United States can count on 24/7/365 as a true ally.

Why?

May God bless you and your efforts on behalf of America

You got to be kidding! Sounds like dog eat dog out there. Okay, folks, I love visiting Tombstone and all that comes with it. Maybe it's time to hit the streets with a good ole street fight to settle things once and for all, because sounds like just talking it out and making new law, just ain't gettin' it done. I'm just kidding. What you really need is some real leadership and we all know how hard that is to come up with these days. Good luck to you all and I sure hope the town is still "Too Tough to Die".

My wife and I were married in Tombstone and had our reception at the Crystal Palace. We live in Cave Creek, AZ. I believe that the town has 2 choices; 1) Band together, support each other and take it to the next level or continue in-fighting and lose the very thing each is trying to save; 'Business". Good luck. The new reg is very stupid and a good laywer could pull it apart in 10 mins. Tombstone needs new leadership in my opinion. Some folks who the see bing picture and who will work very hard to hang on to all the cool things that have alwasy made Tombstone what it is. (Wild and Free).

That's a clever response. Why didn't I think to address the issue with irrelevant comments. Joe, can you be more specific or are you just going to make more comments that don't address the issue?

I believe that Hawkers Should be allowed to be on the streets of Tombstone. Orginally from PA, and a Tucson AZ transplant, I have been visiting Tombstone since 1988. I have been there hundreds of times bringing clients, family and even just myself for a relaxing step into the past. I know many locals and have heard their concerns for the city over the years as well. The Hawkers have been here since before I was born and probably before many of the others we know were born. It not only IS part of the past and history of Tombstone, but it is also part of the tourist experience for many who have come to taste Tombstones past. (plus it is good for all the businesses as well). I agree that to suddenly want to enforce an old, and mostly forgotton law, is not for the betterment of the city, but is a selfish move for someones personal gain. Hawkers are part of both Tombstones history, and its present as a tourist destination. In my opinion...they need to stay!

Dear Cactus Jack,

Your name must been given to you cause your a dumb ass prick. Were you born there...probably not. You probably came there just like all the other retirees. We were there before you... I bet, and we will be there long after your body is nice and cold.

Have a nice day Jack

I'm a constitutionalist, to be more precise (I make the DHS Extremist Lexicon...woohoo!). This is a basic life lesson, it's what I teach my kids. If you see a wrong that you believe you can help correct, sitting by and allowing it to happen is the same as doing it yourself. For instance; you're walking down the street and you see a bus coming toward a small child playing in the street, are you able to help? If you have enough time to get the child out of harm's way, do you do it? The answer is YES! I see the same thing happening in Tombstone and I'm in a position to help by proclaiming to the world that there's an injustice happening. As I've stated in Proclamation #1, I'm a patriot, so I'm going to do what I can.
